UNLV Intensive English Program

English Language Study for All

The UNLV Intensive English Program offers non-credit-bearing English classes to international and domestic students interested in learning English and improving their oral and written communication skills.

  • Spring 2026: December 1, 2025 (Initial F-1 students), January 16, 2026 (all other students)
  • Fall 2026: July 1, 2026 (Initial F-1 students), August 21, 2026 (all other students)

Intensive English Program Checklist

International Student (F1 and J1 Visas)

  • Apply to the Intensive English Program.
  • Submit Documents: Financial Certification Form, Bank Letter, Passport Photo.
  • Submit Test Scores and Transcripts.
  • Pay Tuition.
  • Receive I-20 after application completion.

Domestic Student (U.S. Resident or U.S. Citizen)

  • Apply to the Intensive English Program.
  • Submit Test Scores and Transcripts.
  • Pay Tuition.
