Introduction to the Alternative Route to Licensure Program
The Alternative Route to Licensure (ARL) program at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) offers a fast track into teaching for individuals who hold a bachelor's degree outside of education. This comprehensive program provides the opportunity to receive a conditional teaching license in Nevada after one semester, based on successful completion of licensing requirements, and continues through the Nevada standard licensing requirements and Master of Education (M.Ed.) or Master of Arts in Teaching (MAT) requirements for various concentrations.
