University Honors Program

The University Honors (UH) program delivers a comprehensive Honors College experience to students from any major throughout their undergraduate years.


Program Overview

UH students complete an innovative Honors core curriculum, an exclusive array of advanced, thought-provoking courses, in place of UNLV's standard general education requirements. The program offers access to a myriad of personal and professional development activities. UH is primarily designed for incoming freshmen but can accommodate transfer and continuing students.

The HON curriculum offers a distinctive learning experience with inspiring professors and motivated peers. Key features include:


  • Specialized HON Core Curriculum (fulfills UNLV General Education requirements)
  • Small class sizes (16-24 students)
