Program Overview

Administrative Assistant Academy

The Administrative Assistant Academy is an eight-week program designed to teach skills related to technical, professional, and administrative responsibilities.

Program Structure

The program is divided into three learning paths:

• Learning Path A: Administrative assistants who have been at UNLV for six months or less
• Learning Path B: Administrative Assistant I or Administrative Assistant II
• Learning Path C: Administrative Assistant III or Administrative Assistant IV

Training Sessions

Training sessions include a combination of:

• In-person seminars
• Interactive time with colleagues
• Webinars
• Self-paced modules taught by subject matter experts and peers

Program Requirements

To participate in the program, administrative assistants must:

• Obtain approval from their supervisor
• Dedicate at least three hours per week over eight weeks

Space is limited and provided on a first-come, first-served basis.
