SUSTAIN Summer Experience

The SUSTAIN Summer Experience is an immersive three-week summer program about nuclear power generation in the United States, held at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. This program allows students to:

• Be introduced to nuclear science through engaged learning and hands-on experience
• Learn about different nuclear technologies and how they impact our daily lives
• Attend engaging lectures on topics ranging from how nuclear technology is perceived in society to what radiation is and how we use it
• Discover the different career opportunities offered to a diverse range of backgrounds, from computer science to chemistry

Eligibility

To be eligible for the program, students must:

• Be an undergraduate student seeking a full-time degree
• Preferably be seeking a degree in STEM
• Have a minimum GPA of 3.0
