Calendar of Implementation
The implementation of the degree in Public Management and Administration has been phased, taking into account potential issues such as space or infrastructure. The prediction is to facilitate, considering the similarity of contents, the recognition of credits between the plan to be extinguished and the new Degree, as detailed opportunely.
Extinction of Previous Plans
Once a course is extinguished, there will be no regular teaching for the subjects corresponding to that course. Students who do not wish to access the new Degree teachings will have the right to four exam calls in the two academic years following the end of each one. After exhausting the indicated calls without having passed the tests, those who wish to continue their studies must follow the new plans, through the adaptation system established in the new plan.
Adaptation Procedure
The memory of the application includes an adaptation procedure for students of existing studies to the new study plan, which allows ensuring their rights in terms of teaching and evaluation in the terms established by the legislation.
Conclusion
The Degree in Public Management and Administration at the University of Alicante offers a comprehensive education that prepares students for careers in public administration, emphasizing specialization, external academic practices, and the adaptation of students from previous study plans to the new degree structure.
