Màster Universitari en Estudis Anglesos Avançats

The Màster Universitari en Estudis Anglesos Avançats is a master's program offered by the Universitat d'Alacant.

Perfil d'ingrés

The program is directed at individuals who have graduated in the field of Estudis Anglesos or related fields.

• The program requires knowledge of the English language, with a level C2 of the European Common Framework of Reference for Languages (M.C.E.R.).
• The degree in Estudis Anglesos, the degree in Filologia Anglesa, or the degree in Traducció i Interpretació: Anglès automatically accredit the C2 level of English.

Requisits d'accés

According to the Universitat d'Alacant's regulations, to access the official master's teachings, it is necessary:

1. To be in possession of an official Spanish university degree or another degree issued by a higher education institution in the European Higher Education Area (EEES) that enables access to master's studies in the country where the degree was issued.
2. To be in possession of a foreign higher education degree that has been homologated to a degree that allows access to the requested studies.
3. To be in possession of a university degree obtained in a university or higher education center in non-EEES countries, without the need for prior homologation of the studies.

• In this case, it is necessary to take into account that the non-homologated degree requires a technical report of equivalence issued by the Universitat d'Alacant.
• Access through this route does not imply, in any case, the homologation of the previous degree or its recognition for purposes other than taking the master's studies.

Criteris d'admissió

The admission criteria for the program are as follows:

• The student's academic record (up to 4 points).
• Possession of other degrees (up to 2 points).
• Other merits, such as knowledge of modern languages, attendance at academic conferences, courses, and seminars, and competitive public grants (up to 2 points).
• Personal interview in English (2 points).

Preinscripció i matrícula

The pre-enrollment and enrollment process for the program is as follows:

• Pre-enrollment is done exclusively through UACloud, filling out the available form.
• After the publication of the definitive lists of admitted applications, the admitted students will receive an email with a password to enroll through UACloud.

The program offers 40 places per course.

Reconeixement i transferència de crèdits

The Universitat d'Alacant has a regulation on recognition and transfer of credits in official studies.

• Recognition is the acceptance by a university of credits obtained in official studies in the same or another university, which are computed for the purpose of obtaining an official degree.
• Transfer of credits refers to the inclusion in the student's academic record of credits obtained in previous official studies that have not led to the obtaining of an official degree.

Reconeixement de crèdits

The recognition of credits can be done in the following cases:

• Credits obtained in official studies at the Universitat d'Alacant or other universities.
• Credits obtained in non-official university studies.
• Professional or work experience.

Transferència de crèdits

The transfer of credits can be done in the following cases:

• Credits obtained in official studies at the Universitat d'Alacant or other universities.
• Credits obtained in non-official university studies.

Reconeixement de crèdits en els ensenyaments de Màster

The recognition of credits in master's studies can be done based on the adequacy between the knowledge associated with the subjects or courses taken by the student and those foreseen in the study plan.

Reconeixement de crèdits en programes de mobilitat

Students who participate in national or international mobility programs and take courses at other higher education institutions can obtain recognition of credits based on the academic agreement established before their departure.
