MÃster Universitario en Emergencias y CatÃstrofes
The Master's Degree in Emergencies and Catastrophes is a program designed for professionals in medicine and nursing who are experts in hospital and pre-hospital emergencies. The program aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills necessary to work in high-performance multidisciplinary teams, leading and coordinating care in emergency situations.

The program is directed at professionals in medicine and nursing who are experts in hospital and pre-hospital emergencies, capable of implementing specific action guides and protocols.
Requisitos de Acceso
To access the Master's program, students must meet the following requirements:
- Be in possession of a Spanish official university degree or another degree issued by a higher education institution in the European Higher Education Area that qualifies for access to Master's studies in the country where the degree was issued.
- Be in possession of a degree from outside the European Higher Education Area, without the need for homologation of their degrees, provided that the University verifies that they accredit a level of training equivalent to the corresponding Spanish official university degrees and that they qualify for access to postgraduate studies in the country where the degree was issued.
Criterios de Admisiµn
The admission criteria for the program are as follows:
- The Master's program is aimed at official degrees in Nursing and Medicine, from a perspective of working in high-performance multidisciplinary teams.
- Offer of 30 places (10 for graduates in Medicine and 20 for graduates in Nursing).
- The Academic Committee of the Master's program will meet once the pre-enrollment period is over to evaluate the admission applications.
- To determine admission, the following criteria will be considered:
- Academic record (valuing especially the subjects related to the Master's program): 60%
- Work experience: 20%
- Having at least one year of complete specialty MIR or EIR: 10%
- Postgraduate training related to the Master's program: 10%
Preinscripciµn y MatrÚcula
The pre-enrollment and enrollment process for the Master's program is as follows:
- Pre-enrollment: interested parties must submit a pre-enrollment application within the established deadlines, using the UACloud platform.
- Enrollment: after the publication of the definitive lists of admitted students, the admitted students will receive an email with a password to enroll through the Campus Virtual platform.

Reconocimiento y Transferencia de CrÕditos
The recognition and transfer of credits for the Master's program are governed by the University of Alicante's regulations. The recognition of credits will be evaluated by the Academic Committee of the Master's program, taking into account the adequacy between the knowledge and competencies acquired by the student and those required by the Master's program.
Acreditaciµn B2 de Espaþol
Students from non-Spanish speaking countries must provide proof of a B2 level of Spanish, certified by an organization recognized by ACLES (Association of Language Centers in Higher Education in Spain).

The Master's program has a quality assurance system in place, which includes the evaluation of the program by the Academic Committee and the University of Alicante's quality assurance agency.
