Program Overview


Máster Universitario en Envejecimiento Activo y Salud

The Master's Degree in Active Aging and Health is a university program that focuses on the study of aging and its effects on individuals and society. The program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the biological, psychological, and social aspects of aging, as well as the skills and knowledge necessary to promote healthy aging and improve the quality of life of older adults.


Structure of the Program

The program consists of 60 credits, divided into two semesters. The first semester includes courses on methodology, management of institutions related to aging, health and physiopathology of aging, psychology of aging, sociology of aging, and styles of life and promotion of healthy habits in older adults. The second semester includes courses on e-health technologies applied to active aging and health, quality of life related to health in older adults, attention to dependence and fragility in older adults, academic practices, and a final master's project.

The program aims to provide students with the following competencies:

Mobility and Exchange Programs

The program offers mobility and exchange programs for students, including the SICUE program for national mobility and the ERASMUS program for international mobility.
