Master's in Abogac燰 y Procura

The Master's in Abogac燰 y Procura is a program offered by the Faculty of Law. It includes the following steps for the completion of the Final Master's Project (TFM):


Step 1: Registration of the TFM

  • The TFM is registered during the ordinary period with the rest of the second-course subjects in the first half of July.
  • Information on registration deadlines is announced on the website, through UACloud, and by message to students' email addresses.
  • Registration is done through the "Registration" utility of UACloud.
  • Registration instructions can be consulted through the "virtual registration envelopes."

Step 2: Selection and Assignment of Work Line and TFM Tutor

  • The work lines offered by the knowledge areas are published through UAProyect on the day the line selection period opens.
  • The selection is made through UAProyect: Choose Proposal >> choose/consult proposal.
  • The assignment of the work line is made taking into account the average grade of the academic record.

Step 3: Elaboration of the TFM

  • The minimum and maximum recommended extension is between 25 and 100 pages (excluding indexes, annexes, and bibliography).
  • The language can be Spanish, Valencian, or English (with prior authorization from the tutor).
  • The structure includes an introduction, chapters, conclusions, bibliography, and annexes (if any).

Step 4: Defense and Evaluation of the TFM

  • The defense of the TFM is always oral before a tribunal.
  • The tribunal evaluates the scientific quality of the work (50%) and the quality of the student's exposition and defense (50%).
  • To be evaluated, the student must have passed all credits of the degree except those corresponding to external practices.
