The University of Tromsř offers a 5-year master's program in Russian as part of the Lektor in Language and Social Science Education (trinn 8-13) degree. This program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in Russian language, literature, and culture, as well as prepare them for a career in teaching.

The program consists of 300 study points, with a combination of compulsory and elective courses. The first semester includes 10 study points in professional studies, 20 study points in Russian, and a 2-week practice period. The subsequent semesters include a mix of Russian language and literature courses, as well as professional studies and practice periods.
