Introduction to the Fifth Wuhan University of Technology MPAcc Case Competition

The Fifth Wuhan University of Technology MPAcc Case Competition is organized to encourage graduate students to participate in enterprise practice, simulate management decision-making, and compare solution schemes. The competition aims to cultivate and improve students' abilities to discover, analyze, and solve actual enterprise problems, while promoting exchange and communication among graduate students.

Case Research Directions and Requirements

• Case Research Direction: Sustainable development and financial accounting innovation
• Case Report Requirements:
  • The case report should be authorized by the researched unit, with a submission of the authorization letter
  • The case report should be signed by the guiding teacher
  • The case report should highlight the originality, typicality, and applicability of the case

Participation Qualifications

• All full-time students of Wuhan University of Technology can participate
• Each team can consist of 4-6 members, including research students and undergraduates, with no more than 2 undergraduates
• The team leader should be a research student
• Each participant can only join one team
• Each team should have 1-2 guiding teachers, with one teacher only guiding one team

Competition Schedule

1. Registration and Submission of Works: Teams should register and submit their case analysis reports by March 16, 2025
2. Preliminary Competition: Expert evaluation of team cases, with anonymous review and selection of teams for the next round
3. Semifinal Competition: Teams will be paired and compete in a knockout format, with a 24-hour preparation time and on-site debate
4. Final Competition: Teams will research and analyze each other's cases, with a 16-hour preparation time and on-site debate

Awards

• The competition will set up first, second, and third prizes, as well as individual awards, depending on the number of participating works
