The 3rd Year Selectives program offers students an opportunity to learn more about a subspecialty or a more specific clinical focus than what is typically offered during the 3rd year clerkships.

Selectives are either 1-week or 2-week rotations in areas of the medical student's choosing.

Grading

3rd year selectives are graded Pass/Fail based upon the attending supervisor's evaluation of the student's clinical performance. There is no written examination.
