Robotics Laboratory

• Brooker Robotics Lab with 30 dual-boot PCs
• Equipped with mobile robots, miniature 'intelligent' rooms, and specialist software

Robot Arena

• 100m˛ laboratory with a six-metre ceiling height for flying robots
• Powered lab floor for long-duration experiments of mobile robots
• Dedicated robotic equipment, including a 3D motion tracking system

Embedded Systems Laboratory

• Provides software and hardware facilities for the design, construction, and prototyping of embedded system solutions
• Focus on ARM-based embedded systems
• Sixteen dedicated workstations with state-of-the-art test equipment

Entry Requirements

UK Entry Requirements

• Good honours degree and a Masters degree, or equivalent, in a related subject
• Well-developed research proposal
• Interview/Skype interview for acceptance

International & EU Entry Requirements

• Wide range of qualifications accepted from applicants studying in the EU and other countries
• English language requirements: IELTS 6.0 with a minimum of 5.5 in each component
