MA Western Marxism

Structure

Course Structure

  • Dissertation: Western Marxism (80 credits): Students write their own dissertation with individual supervision.
  • Capitalism and its Critics (20 credits): Examines the social consequences, moral status, and viability of capitalism.
  • The Frankfurt School (20 credits): Explores the tradition of critical social philosophy, focusing on figures like Adorno, Horkheimer, Habermas, or Honneth.
