Overview

The MSc Advanced Musculoskeletal Assessment and Practice (Hand Therapy) is a part-time postgraduate course designed for clinicians who have specialized in Hand Therapy. The course enables students to advance their practice, engaging with material related to clinical decision-making, clinical service quality improvement strategies, research methods, medication use in rehabilitation, and developing advanced clinical skills in injection therapy.

  • Provide students with a critical understanding of the key concepts underlying advanced musculoskeletal clinical skills in hand therapy beyond their normal professional scope of practice.

Entry Requirements

UK Entry Requirements

  • A relevant professional qualification and current registration with the relevant UK professional body.
  • A minimum of 1 year post-registration experience and relevant musculoskeletal experience.
  • A relevant first degree or relevant professional experience and qualifications that demonstrate the ability to study at level seven.
  • Currently employed in a relevant field of practice.
  • Able to provide a demonstration of existing specialist competencies in musculoskeletal practice.

English Language Requirements
