Postgraduate Diploma International Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging

The Postgraduate Diploma International Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Imaging is a part-time program designed for clinicians who wish to access musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging within their own jurisdiction. The program is based in the School of Sport, Rehabilitation and Exercise Sciences at the University of Essex.

• A relevant first degree or relevant professional experience or qualifications that demonstrate the ability to study at Level 7.
• A minimum of 1 year post-registration experience and relevant musculoskeletal experience.
• Current registration with the relevant UK or equivalent international professional body.
• Access to support in the workplace to enable completion of clinical learning requirements.

  • SE747: Postgraduate Research Methods (Distance Learning)
  • Optional modules, such as SE715: Introduction to Musculoskeletal Ultrasound, SE782: Verification of Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Learning, SE731: Leading Change in Healthcare, SE710: Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Guided Injections, and SE714: Soft Tissue and Joint Injection Therapy
