PG Dip Cyber Security

The PG Dip Cyber Security is a 16-month online conversion course that explores the key trends within the field of cyber security. The course develops students' technical and practical skills to deal with cyber security issues that can arise within an organization.

The PG Dip Cyber Security is made up of the following modules:

  • Component 02: Compulsory - Network Security (10 credits)
  • Component 03: Compulsory - Security and Risk Management (20 credits)
  • Component 04: Compulsory - Advanced Object-Oriented Design and Programming (20 credits)

Entry Requirements

The University of Essex Online offers two different entry routes:


  • Academic entry route: Students must have an undergraduate degree from an approved institution, equivalent to a UK Honours degree, or a relevant professional qualification.
  • Work experience entry route: Students must have at least three years' relevant work experience. Students must also meet the English language requirements, with an IELTS (Academic) score of 6.5 or equivalent.

Fees and Funding

The full tuition fee for the PG Dip Cyber Security is 」8,572 for UK students and 」8,952 for international students. A simple monthly payment plan is available, and a full payment discount of 5% is offered for upfront payment. Regional scholarships are available for international students based overseas in eligible countries.


Graduation
