The Doctor of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering is offered in three specializations: Nuclear Reactor Engineering, Nuclear Fuel Cycle Engineering, and Application of Radiation and Radioisotopes.

Specializations

Nuclear Reactor Engineering

• The admission process for this specialization is through the Ph.D. in Nuclear Reactor examination.

Nuclear Fuel Cycle Engineering

• Similar to Nuclear Reactor Engineering, admission to this specialization is also through the Ph.D. in Nuclear Reactor examination.

Application of Radiation and Radioisotopes

• Admission to this specialization is through the Ph.D. in Application of Radiation and Radioisotopes examination.
  • This includes the field of nuclear medicine.

Admission Criteria

• Admission to the Doctor of Engineering in Nuclear Engineering program is based on performance in the respective Ph.D. examinations for each specialization.
• For Nuclear Reactor and Nuclear Fuel Cycle Engineering, the Ph.D. in Nuclear Reactor examination is the basis for admission.
• For the Application of Radiation and Radioisotopes, including nuclear medicine, admission is based on the Ph.D. in Application of Radiation and Radioisotopes examination.
