Objective

The Real Estate Finance & Investment course is designed for students interested in acquiring skills and knowledge in real estate finance and investment. The course introduces students to the fundamental concepts of real estate finance and investment, including valuation, investment, and financing of real estate projects.

  • Di Pasquale model and real estate market analysis and optimal land policies
  • Housing policy in Iran and the world, real estate in urban economics, and urban economic challenges in Iran
  • Introduction to real estate valuation and cash flow, cost of capital in real estate valuation
  • Real options and real estate pricing, errors in real estate valuation; Iranian experiences
  • Iran's housing market and future prospects, global real estate indices, and key Iranian housing market indices
  • Real estate as an investment tool and performance of real estate investment
  • Introduction to financial instruments, institutions, and markets related to real estate and real estate investment funds
