Latin American Studies Major

About our program

The Latin American Studies major provides a comprehensive understanding of Latin America's role in the hemisphere and the world, while honing Spanish language skills. This interdisciplinary major blends economics, history, philosophy, political science, social welfare and justice, Spanish, and theology to give students the broadest perspective possible.

Program Details

• Gain hands-on experience through study abroad programs in Chile or Peru, or engage in service projects from Milwaukee to Central America.
• Develop a broad perspective through an interdisciplinary curriculum that combines multiple fields of study.
