Program Overview
Introduction to the Summer Business Academy
The Summer Business Academy is an immersive, three-day program offered by Marquette Business, designed for rising 10th to 12th-grade students. This program provides an impactful opportunity for high school students to explore business disciplines, network with industry partners, and work closely with esteemed faculty.
Program Details
- The Summer Business Academy will take place from June 22–24.
- Each day of the academy will focus on a specific area of business, including:
- Management
- Operations and supply chain
- Marketing
- Students will participate in hands-on workshops led by Marquette University faculty, followed by visits to area organizations to see each concept at work in the real world.
- The program follows a day camp format, with an 8 a.m. drop off and 5 p.m. pick-up each day at Dr. E. J. and Margaret O'Brien Hall on the Marquette University campus.
Admission and Fees
- The program is designed for rising 10th to 12th-grade students, although ninth-graders will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- Up to 50 students will be admitted on a first-come, first-accepted basis.
- The registration cost is $500, which includes:
- Light breakfast
- Lunch
- Learning materials
- Activity fees

- Kaitlyn Keizer, Assistant Professor of Practice in Accounting
