Program Overview
Introduction to the Library Training Program
The library training program is a mandatory course for all first-year students of the first degree, first-year students of uniform master's studies, and second-degree students who have not completed the training at the university.
Registration for the Library Training Program
- Students of the first year of the first degree and the first year of uniform master's studies are automatically enrolled in the course in the USOSweb system.
- Students of the first year of the second degree (who have not completed the training at the university earlier) and students who have not been automatically enrolled in the course can register themselves by enrolling in the subject in the USOSweb system. They should select the subject 4310-00000-I0P-0001 Library Training and then click "Register" (enrollment in the Additional Group 21). Access to the course will be active the next working day after registration in the USOS system (usually after 10:00).
Conducting the Library Training Program
The library training program is conducted electronically on the university's e-learning platform, PW LeOn. Each participant must log in to the platform independently. The login instructions are available in the News section on the website of the Main Library of the Warsaw University of Technology at the beginning of each semester.
After logging in to the e-learning platform, participants should familiarize themselves with the materials and take a test. Passing the test is equivalent to completing the training. The training is held at the beginning of the starting semester.
