Overview
The Ekonomia program is designed to provide students with advanced theoretical knowledge in economics and finance, enabling them to analyze and interpret various economic and social problems. The program utilizes distance learning methods for a significant portion of its courses.
Program Details
- Students will learn how to apply techniques for acquiring and collecting data from different sources, use standard statistical methods and computer tools for data processing, analysis, and presentation.
- They will acquire skills in using economic indicators and measures to describe economic phenomena and processes, prepare summaries, analyses, and reports to facilitate economic decision-making, and verify their accuracy.
- The program offers two specializations: Finances and Accounting, and Business Economics.

Finances and Accounting
- Prepares students to record economic operations, calculate costs, and conduct economic and financial analyses using modern accounting programs applied in economic practice.
- Covers ways of financing business activities, determining the cost of capital, and evaluating the effectiveness of economic ventures.
- Includes understanding the functioning of the public finance system, markets, and financial institutions.
Business Economics
- Provides advanced knowledge and skills in the functioning of economic and social organizations, their types, goals, structures, and relationships with the domestic and international environment.
- Enables students to prepare development plans for economic entities, marketing plans, and business plans, leveraging knowledge in finance, entrepreneurship, organization, management, and law.
- Teaches students to prepare economic projects, considering economic and legal factors.
