Ekonomia Program Details

The Ekonomia program is designed to provide students with advanced theoretical knowledge in economics and finance, enabling them to analyze and interpret various economic and social problems. The program utilizes distance learning methods for a significant portion of its courses.

Program Description

Students will learn to apply techniques for acquiring and collecting data from various sources, use standard statistical methods and computer tools for data processing, analysis, and presentation. They will also develop skills in using economic indicators to describe economic phenomena and processes, preparing summaries, analyses, and reports to facilitate economic decision-making, and verifying their accuracy.

Specializations

The program offers two specializations:

• Finanse i rachunkowo (Finance and Accounting)
• Ekonomia biznesu (Business Economics)

Finanse i rachunkowo Specialization

This specialization prepares students to record economic transactions, calculate costs, and conduct economic and financial analyses using modern accounting programs. Students will learn about financing business activities, determining capital costs, and evaluating the effectiveness of economic ventures. They will also understand how the public finance system, markets, and financial institutions function.

Ekonomia biznesu Specialization

This specialization provides students with advanced knowledge and skills in the functioning of economic and social organizations, their types, goals, and structures, as well as their relationships with the domestic and international environment. Students will acquire knowledge in finance, entrepreneurship, organization, and management, as well as law, enabling them to prepare development plans for economic entities, marketing plans, and business plans. They will learn to prepare economic projects, taking into account economic and legal factors.

Career Opportunities

Graduates will find employment in accounting, financial, and economic departments of various enterprises. They will also be prepared to work as specialists in banks, financial institutions, accounting offices, and public administration offices.
