The university program in question is Papiernictwo i poligrafia, which translates to Papermaking and Printing. This program is designed to provide students with a broad range of knowledge in the field of printing technology, production, and design of intelligent packaging, computer graphics, and the application of information technology (IT) in modern printing.

Program Description

The program is conducted according to a flexible curriculum that is adapted to the changes occurring in global printing. Students will learn about computer preparation of publications, the specifics of computer graphics and digital methods of producing printing forms, classical and digital printing techniques, and production management systems. The program offers two specializations:

• Grafika Komputerowa i Technologie Cyfrowe w Poligrafii (Computer Graphics and Digital Technologies in Printing) students will become familiar with graphic programs, execute and process digital photos.
• Technologie Poligrafii i Produkcji Opakowa (Printing Technologies and Packaging Production) students will learn about issues related to packaging, labels, and printed electronics.

Career Opportunities

After completing the program, graduates will be able to work successfully in printing plants, publishing houses, advertising agencies, and graphic design studios, as well as in the sales representatives of domestic and foreign companies working for the printing industry or in research and development units. Possible job positions include computer graphic designer, packaging designer, production manager.
