The Informatyka stosowana (Applied Computer Science) program is a second-cycle study program offered by the Warsaw University of Technology. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in the field of computer science, with a focus on practical applications.
Program Description
The program is taught in English and is offered in a non-stationary (distance learning) mode. The curriculum includes a range of courses that cover topics such as software design, advanced databases, ethical artificial intelligence, business process modeling, data warehousing, and visualization, as well as sustainable software engineering on a large scale. Students also have the opportunity to choose from a range of elective courses, including user experience (UX) design, low-code software development, technical aspects of neural networks in business, cybersecurity, language models in practice, and startup entrepreneurship.

They will be able to analyze problems, draw conclusions, and make decisions, as well as work in a team, organize, and manage team work. Career opportunities include working as a scientific employee, software designer and creator, manager of programming teams, analyst and administrator of complex computer systems, designer, creator, and administrator of computer networks, and specialist in computer system security.
