Introduction to the Library Training Program

The Library Training Program, also known as Przysposobienie biblioteczne, is a mandatory course for all students at the Warsaw University of Technology. The program is designed to introduce students to the university's library system and provide them with the necessary skills to effectively use the library's resources.

Program Details

• The program is conducted electronically on the Leon Platform of the Warsaw University of Technology.
• The course is available to all faculties from October 3 to October 19, 2025.
• The program is mandatory for all first-year students of the first degree, first-year students of uniform master's studies, and second-degree students who have not completed the training at the Warsaw University of Technology.

Registration for the Library Training Program

• First-year students of the first degree and first-year students of uniform master's studies are automatically enrolled in the course in the USOSweb system.
• First-year students of the second degree (who have not completed the training at the Warsaw University of Technology) and students who have not been automatically enrolled in the course must register for the course through the USOSweb system.

Logging in to the Leon Platform

1. Go to the Leon Platform website
2. Select "Log in" (in the top right corner of the screen), then click "Log in to the platform"
3. The login and password are the same as for the USOSWeb system
4. Enter your login: PESEL number or email address provided during recruitment (or identifier obtained from the dean's office of the relevant faculty for individuals who do not have a PESEL number)
5. Enter your USOSWeb password. Students who log in to USOSWeb for the first time enter the password from the PW Recruitment system
6. Select the Library Training course Exercises

Transferring Credits from Previous Years

• Students who completed the Library Training course in previous years and changed faculties can transfer their credits.
• Individuals who want to transfer credits from previous years must be registered for the course in the current semester see the Registration for the Library Training Program section
• Requests to transfer credits should be submitted through a designated form

Credits

• Credits will be entered into the USOSweb system at the end of the semester.
