Program Overview
Introduction to the Program
The ITiC PW Cybersecurity postgraduate program is a new offering from the Institute of Telecommunications and Cybersecurity at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Technology, Warsaw University of Technology. The first edition of the program started in the fall of 2023.
Program Description
The postgraduate program is designed for graduates of technical studies and scientific disciplines. Participants will gain fundamental knowledge and necessary technical skills in the field of cybersecurity, including:
- Basics of cybersecurity and programming in Python
- Network security
- Securing computers and IT systems
- Testing and auditing IT systems
- Incident and cyber threat analysis
The program also includes an introduction to cybersecurity management, which will cover various contexts of working in the field of cybersecurity. The program focuses on practical skills, with computer classes and laboratories, and a group project on a selected topic from the field of cybersecurity in the second semester.
Program Structure
The program is led by Dr. Pawe Tomaszewicz from the Cybersecurity Department of ITiC PW, who is responsible for the entire program.
