Program Details

The university program in question is a student exchange program with the University of Detroit Mercy.


Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the program, students must meet the following criteria:


  • Be in their second year of English-language engineering studies or third year of unified master's studies.
  • Have passed all courses covered by the program up to the final qualification (after the February 2025 session).
  • Have a minimum average grade of 4.0 in design courses.
  • Possess English language skills sufficient for fluent communication (a qualifying exam is planned).

Program Structure

The program includes:


  • Classes at the School of Architecture and Community Development, University of Detroit Mercy, including fabrication and American architecture (with trips).
  • Opportunities to organize study trips (e.g., to Washington DC, New York, Chicago, Toronto).

Costs and Financing

  • The program is self-financed.
  • For qualified part-time students, there is a possibility of:
    • Deferring payment for the summer semester 2025/26 until July 15, 2026.
    • Exemption from tuition fees for the winter semester 2026/2027.

Timeline

  • The Polish group's trip to Detroit is scheduled for the second half of August 2026, with a return planned for around mid-December 2026.
  • Supplementary recruitment for the program will last until January 30, 2026.
  • An additional informational meeting is scheduled for January 21, 2026, at 6:00 p.m.
