Program Overview

The Mentoring Doktorski w Dyscyplinie Nauki o Zarządzaniu i Jakości is a postgraduate program conducted by the Faculty of Management at the Warsaw University of Technology. The program aims to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and social competencies necessary to formulate a doctoral research problem and apply for a doctoral program in the field of Management and Quality Science.

Program Objectives

The program prepares students to:

• Acquire advanced knowledge and practical skills in conducting research at a level that enables them to begin a doctoral program;
• Familiarize themselves with the scope of issues belonging to the discipline of Management and Quality Science and select and initially explore the state of knowledge in the sub-discipline in which they want to locate the research problem of their planned doctoral dissertation;
• Develop the ability to further develop this knowledge and skills after completing the program.

What Distinguishes the Program

• A teaching concept focused on enabling graduates to acquire practical skills in conducting scientific research at the level of preparing a doctoral dissertation;
• The use of modern teaching methods, techniques, and tools to improve the effectiveness of the learning process (workshop exercises, project tasks, team assignments);
• Emphasis on undertaking final project topics that converge with the challenges from the areas of issues related to the professional duties of participants;
• Academic teachers conducting classes are also practitioners who cooperate in various forms with units of the socio-economic environment;
• Receipt of a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies issued by the Warsaw University of Technology.

Program Details

• Rekrutacja: The program is designed for management practitioners with at least 3 years of professional experience and at least 1 year of experience in a managerial position (longer experience and higher management positions are preferred).
• Program Studiów Podyplomowych: The program is tailored to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the discipline and to develop their research skills.
• Organizacja Zajęć: Classes are organized to ensure that students receive a thorough education in the field of Management and Quality Science.
• Wykładowcy: The program is taught by experienced academic staff who are also practitioners in their fields.

Admission Criteria

• At least 3 years of professional experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a managerial position
• Preference is given to candidates with longer experience and higher management positions

Certificate

Upon completion of the program, students receive a certificate of completion of postgraduate studies issued by the Warsaw University of Technology.
