Program Details

• The program is open to Polish institutions that express their willingness to host a specialist for various activities, including:

  • Seminars and workshops
  • Symposia
  • Conferences
  • Consultations in the area of program work and administrative staff development
  • Conducting evaluations and expert opinions
  • Developing local programs and/or research projects
• The Fulbright Specialist receives an honorarium and reimbursement for flight costs to and from Poland.
• The hosting institution is responsible for covering the specialist's accommodation, food, and domestic travel expenses.

Current Edition of the Program

• The current edition of the program has expanded its scope to include additional activities that commemorate the 250th anniversary of the United States in 2026.
• Examples of such activities include open lectures related to the project's theme for a broader audience and informational-educational activities highlighting selected aspects of American history or culture.

Application and Eligibility

• Institutions can submit applications for visits planned between September 1, 2026, and September 30, 2027.
• A requirement for participation is the submission of an electronic application by the representative of the hosting institution.
• The application deadline is January 9, 2026.
