Admission to the School of Education for Undergraduate Students

Admission to the School of Education is a required step for undergraduate students after being admitted to the university and completing the Introduction to Teaching course. This admission is necessary before enrolling in 400/600 level professional education courses and student teaching.


Application Requirements

To apply for admission to the School of Education, students will be asked to provide the following information:


  • Advisor's name
  • Advisor's email Students may also upload supporting documents, including:
    • Unofficial transcript
    • ACT scores or Praxis scores
    • Screenshot of scheduled Praxis test, which must include the student's name

The Field Experience Verification form requires students to provide:


  • Description of responsibilities and age range of students
  • Location of experience(s)
  • Dates of experience(s)
  • Number of hours completed
  • Supervisor's name
  • Supervisor's email

Submission Deadlines
