Program Overview
University Program Information
The Nursing - LPN to BSN Track program is a B.S.N. degree that requires a minimum of 120 credits to graduate. The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive education in nursing, preparing them for a career in the healthcare industry.
University Degree Requirements
To graduate, students must satisfy the following requirements:
- Satisfactory completion of all requirements of the curriculum in which one is enrolled
- Earn a minimum total of 120 credits in approved coursework
- Satisfactory completion of the general education requirements as specified by the university
- A minimum institutional GPA of 2.00 based on work taken at NDSU
- At least 30 credits must be NDSU resident credits
- At least 36 credits presented for graduation must be in courses numbered 300 or higher

Degree Requirements and Notes
Students must maintain a semester GPA of 2.0 or above for each semester in the College of Health Professions (CoHP). A student who fails to meet this standard for two successive or three non-successive semesters may be terminated from enrollment in the CoHP. The following course sequence may be accepted in place of CHEM 117 Chemical Concepts and Applications/CHEM 117L Chem Concepts and Applications Lab:
