Description
This program provides a platform for educators to share, discuss, and receive feedback on their passion projects. Participants may also choose to select and share educational texts, with the goal of implementing learning into their educational setting or personal lives.
Syllabus, Objectives, and Outcomes
Objectives
- Share resources related to the implementation of a passion project
- Share concept ideas for class lessons learned from educational texts
- Provide feedback and considerations to other participants' passion projects
- Participate in two Zoom meetings to share passion projects and collaborate with participants
- Complete Google forms to share resources and project ideas
Text
Participants will create their own lessons or content detailing the concepts of their passion projects. This should include some sort of digital or picture of hard copy as evidence that can be submitted into the Google form for each week's meeting.
Course Requirements
- Read two different educational texts, one self-selected text for each week
- Attend Zoom Meeting Sessions on June 15 and 29, 2026, from 8:00 10:00 p.m.
- Be prepared to share how they will implement their learning
- Complete Google Form 1 prior to the first meeting
- Complete Google Form 2 prior to the second meeting
