Program Overview
Introduction to the Athens Program
The Athens Program is a network of 14 European technological universities and nine ParisTech Graduate Schools of Engineering. The program was created in 1997 to facilitate the exchange of students, teachers, and researchers from major European technological universities.
Goals and Objectives
The principal goal of the Athens Network is to participate together under European technological development and training programs. The network aims to facilitate the exchange of students, teachers, and researchers, and to promote cooperation among its member institutions.
Program Structure
The Athens Program is structured around an intensive program of coursework taught at each member institution during one or two sessions in November and March. This activity is called the ATHENS week. Every year, there are about 150 different intensive courses in English, French, or Spanish.
