Program Overview
The Mérnöki Tanácsadás és a FIDIC Szerzdéses Rendszer program is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the FIDIC contract system and its application in engineering consulting. The program is supported by the Magyar Tanácsadó Mérnökök és Építészek Szövetsége (TMSZ), the official and exclusive Hungarian representative of FIDIC.
Program Objectives
The primary objective of the program is to equip participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively apply the FIDIC contract system in their work. The program aims to provide a detailed understanding of the FIDIC contract system, its principles, and its application in various engineering projects.
Target Audience
The program is designed for engineers, contractors, engineering consultants, and administrative professionals working in the construction industry.
Program Requirements
- Participants must have a university or college degree.
- The program consists of 8 sessions, with a total of 40 hours of instruction.
- The program will be held on Mondays, with the following schedule:
- 1st-2nd periods: 13:00-14:30
- 3rd-4th periods: 14:45-16:15
- 5th-6th periods: 16:30-18:00
Program Content
The program will cover the following topics:
- Introduction to FIDIC and its contract system
- FIDIC contract types and their application
- Preparation and implementation of investment projects using the FIDIC contract system
- Hungarian legal framework and its relation to FIDIC contracts
- FIDIC contract conditions and their application in practice
- Dispute resolution in FIDIC contracts
- The role of the engineer in FIDIC contracts
Program Schedule
The program will start on March 2, 2026, and will consist of the following sessions:
- March 2, 2026
- March 16, 2026
- March 30, 2026
- April 13, 2026
- April 27, 2026
- May 11, 2026
- May 18, 2026
- June 1, 2026
- The final exam will be held on June 15, 2026.
Program Fees
The program fee is 230,000 HUF (net), which includes:
- 40 hours of instruction
- Program materials
- Certificate of completion
Additional Costs
Participants will have the opportunity to purchase FIDIC publications at a discounted price:
- "Sárga könyv" (Üzemek, telepek és tervezés-építési projektek szerzdéses feltételei elektromos és gépészeti létesítményekhez): 6,000 HUF + 5% VAT
- "Piros könyv" (Építési munkák szerzdéses feltételei): 7,000 HUF + 5% VAT
- Package deal: "Ezüst" + "Fehér" + "Zöld" + "Arany": 7,000 HUF + 5% VAT
Certificate of Completion
Upon successful completion of the program, participants will receive a certificate of completion, which confirms their ability to apply the FIDIC contract system in their work.
