Introduction to the VeBio Summer Camp

The VeBio Tehetség Egyesület, with the support of the Faculty of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the Budapest University of Technology, is organizing a summer camp.

Description of the Summer Camp

The summer camp is a 10-day intensive program where participants can attend classes in chemistry, physics, biology, and mathematics. The focus is on practicing calculation exercises in a small-group, friendly environment. Additionally, participants have the opportunity to collect admission points for the Budapest University of Technology.

What to Expect

• Every day, participants attend five 75-minute classes in two subjects of their choice, where they can deepen their knowledge in small groups.
• Practical classes help participants prepare for advanced-level exams or competitions.
• Afternoons and evenings are filled with community programs: sports, games, team-building, discussions, cultural events, and campfires. Afternoon programs start at 7:00 PM.

Target Audience

The summer camp is recommended for 10th-12th grade students who wish to pursue engineering, natural sciences, or healthcare and want to improve their knowledge for the exams.

Dates and Location

• Date: July 21-30, 2025
• Location: 2750 Nagykrös, Ceglédi út 24, Toldi Miklós Food Industry Technical School

Application and Availability

Applications are accepted until April 16, 2025. If there are remaining spots, the application period may be extended. The camp can accommodate 120 students, and spots are filled in the order of application. If the camp is full, a waiting list is created, and any vacancies are filled from this list.

Scholarship Opportunity

This year, it is also possible to apply for a scholarship from the Györffy István Talent Support Foundation to reduce the participation fee.

Application Deadline

The application deadline is April 16, 2025 (Wednesday). Although the deadline has passed, there are still available spots, and applications are being accepted.

Fees

• The participation fee with full board is 96,000 Ft.
• Without accommodation and meals, the fee is 29,000 Ft.
