Program Overview


ENERGETIKUS MSc Program

The ENERGETIKUS MSc program is designed for students interested in nuclear energy, reactor physics, and related fields. This program is suitable for those who wish to pursue careers in areas such as reactor physics, current or next-generation reactors, plasma physics, fusion energy production, radiochemistry, or related measurement and instrument development tasks.


Program Description

The program offers students the opportunity to participate in the Nuclear Techniques Institute's (NTI) diverse research activities through thesis work and project participation during their master's studies. Top-performing students may also have the chance to participate in similar programs at foreign universities or join joint projects between NTI and European research institutes and universities. Upon completion of the program, graduates can expect a range of promising job opportunities. Some potential employers include the Paks Nuclear Power Plant, Paks II Nuclear Power Plant Development Ltd., the National Atomic Energy Authority, the Hungarian Academy of Sciences' Energy Research Center, and the Radioactive Waste Management Non-profit Ltd.
