Program Overview


Energetikai Mérnök BSc Program

The Energetikai Mérnök BSc program is offered by the Nukleáris Technikai Intézet (NTI). Within this program, the NTI is responsible for two mandatory subjects: Mag- és neutronfizika (Nuclear and Neutron Physics) and Atomenergetikai alapismeretek (Basic Knowledge of Nuclear Energy). Other subjects taught by the Institute are either mandatory electives or free electives.


Program Description

The program is designed for students who wish to pursue a career in the field of nuclear energy. The Atomenergia specializáción (Nuclear Energy Specialization) is recommended for students who plan to write their thesis at the NTI or one of its partner institutions and intend to work with current or next-generation reactors (e.g., Paks, Paks II), radiation protection, fusion energy production (e.g., ITER), or radiochemistry.
