MSc in Construction Information Technology Engineering

The MSc in Construction Information Technology Engineering program involves students in a wide range of areas of digitalization in the AEC industry, including sensor network construction and application, programming, BIM, complex building electrical and HVAC systems, sustainability, and energy efficiency. In the spring semester, students participate in a one-week internship at the BME Knowledge Centre, where they install microcontroller-based sensors, collect and record big data using cloud solutions, and study the building structure, electrical, and HVAC systems.

BTC Week

The BTC week is an intensive program where students work in teams to solve problems and develop non-technical competences. The program includes interactive, off-site lessons, and students are provided with modern building diagnostic tools to run dynamic energy simulations. The emphasis is on documentation, and students present their weekly work and further ideas at the end of the program.
