Admission Points Calculation

• Selectable matriculation exam subjects: Students can choose from the following subjects for their admission exam: economic studies, one foreign language (English, French, German, Italian, Russian, or Spanish), informatics, mathematics, history, geography, one vocational preparatory subject, or one industry-specific vocational exam subject.
• Professional preparatory exam subjects that can be chosen in the courses: The following vocational preparatory exam subjects can be chosen for the program: basic informatics, basic commercial and marketing knowledge, basic economic knowledge, basic office management knowledge, basic hospitality and tourism knowledge.
• _The following industry-specific vocational exam subjects can be chosen for the program: informatics knowledge, commercial knowledge, economic knowledge, tourism knowledge, office management knowledge, hospitality industry knowledge.
• Students must choose two subjects for their admission exam.

The program places great emphasis on presenting financial and accounting processes as management tools and integrating them into other business and economic processes. Therefore, basic management knowledge is also covered during the program.

The Budapest University of Technology and Economics' Finance and Accounting program is unique in that it utilizes its technical environment to offer specializations in financial and accounting informatics, as well as international finance and accounting. This allows students to gain comprehensive knowledge of financial and accounting fields, regardless of their specialization. The program also includes special English language courses and some subjects are taught in English.
