Program Overview

Program Overview

The BSc program at our university welcomes approximately 60-70 students each year to embark on a three-year journey of academic excellence. Our students typically possess high admission scores and hail from the best schools. The first year of the program lays the foundation in mathematical, programming, and physics knowledge, while the subsequent two years allow students to delve deeper into applied physics and research-oriented physics specializations.

Curriculum Structure

  • The program is designed to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of physics and its applications.
    • In the first year, students acquire fundamental knowledge in mathematics, programming, and physics.
    • In the second and third years, students can specialize in either applied physics or research-oriented physics, allowing them to explore their interests in greater depth.
  • Intensive laboratory instruction is an integral part of our program, ensuring that students gain hands-on experience with complex measurement tasks and modern measurement techniques.

Research Opportunities

  • Our students have the opportunity to engage in scientific research projects, enabling them to actively contribute to ongoing research and industrial developments.
  • Specifically, our top BSc students can participate in Tudom·nyos Di·kkˆri projects, which provide a platform for them to explore their research interests and collaborate with faculty members.

Career Prospects

  • Upon completing the BSc program, our graduates are well-equipped to pursue further studies in MSc programs, either at our university or at other reputable institutions in Hungary or abroad.
  • Alternatively, our graduates can enter the workforce directly, leveraging the skills and knowledge acquired during their undergraduate studies to secure employment in their chosen field.
