The Joint International Master in Smart Systems Integrated Solutions (SSIs) is a two-year program that offers students the opportunity to become experts in tomorrow's technology. This program is a collaboration between three leading technical institutions in European countries, providing students with a unique learning experience.
Program Overview
The SSIs program is a 120 ECTS Joint Master Programme that allows for full student mobility between the three partner institutions. These institutions have leading expertise in the academic fields of Smart Systems and Microsystems Technology.
What are Smart Systems?
Smart Systems are miniaturized systems that combine data processing with multi-modal sensing, actuation, and communication functions. These systems include optical, biological, mechanical, and other functions.
Program Curriculum
The curriculum of the SSIs program provides students with state-of-the-art knowledge that combines the strengths of the three participating universities. This unique combination of knowledge is not available at any European institution alone.
Eligibility and Requirements
The SSIs program awaits applicants from different fields of sciences. However, the curriculum is best suited for students with backgrounds in:
- Electrical engineering
- Physics
- Material science
- Mechanical or mechatronics engineering
