Introduction to the MSc Program in Plastics and Textile Technology Engineering

The MSc program in Plastics and Textile Technology Engineering offers two specializations:


  • Manyagok feldolgoz·sa Ès alkalmaz·sa (processing and application of plastics)
  • Sz·l- Ès textiltechnolÛgia (fiber and textile technology)

Admission Requirements

For admission to the MSc program, a diploma from a relevant BSc program (e.g., chemical engineering) can be considered with full credit recognition. For diplomas from other fields, the following requirements apply:


  • A minimum of 40 credits from the following areas:
    • TermÈszettudom·nyi ismeretek (natural sciences: mathematics, physics, chemistry, and biochemistry): 30 credits
    • Gazdas·gi Ès hum·n ismeretek (economic and human sciences: basic economics, management, and law): 10 credits
    • Szakmai alapismeretek (professional foundation: physical chemistry applications, materials science, measurement and control technology, chemical engineering machinery and process engineering, technology): 20 credits
    • Speci·lis szakmai ismeretek (specialized professional knowledge: plastics and plastics physics, as well as plastic or textile technology): 10 credits If the total credits recognized exceed the minimum of 40 but do not meet the required 70 credits, the missing credits must be obtained within two semesters of admission, in accordance with the university's study and examination regulations.

The program is designed to provide advanced knowledge in plastics and textile technology engineering, with a focus on the processing and application of plastics, as well as fiber and textile technology.
