Fire Protection Planning Specialist Training

  • The training is coordinated by the Department of Building Structures and the Department of Building Energy and Building Services.
  • The qualification is called Fire Protection Planner Engineer.
  • The next planned start date is September 2025.
  • The application deadline is August 10, 2025.
  • The prerequisite is a degree in a technical field, at least at the bachelor's level.
  • The training lasts 4 semesters.
  • The intensity is every two weeks on Fridays and Saturdays.
  • The language of the training is Hungarian.
  • The cost of the training is HUF 280,000 per semester.

Program Description

The training covers the topics of fire protection engineering with an emphasis on fire protection planning over four semesters. The training includes six two-day thematic conferences per semester, which take place every two to three weeks on Fridays and Saturdays. The four semesters end with a thesis and a state exam. After completing the training, it is possible to obtain the Hungarian Chamber of Architects construction fire protection design authorization (TUÉ) and the Hungarian Chamber of Engineers (Hungarian Chamber of Engineers) construction fire protection design authorization (TUÉ), built-in fire alarm designers (TUJ), and built-in extinguishing equipment designers (TUO) certifications.
