The course covers deep foundation technologies and deep construction structures, including:
- Application cases for deep foundations
- Mechanisms influencing load transfer
- Load-bearing capacity based on sounding test results
- Gravel piles
- Practical application of diaphragm walls
- Open and closed method constructions and insulations
- Pedestrian underpasses
- Design issues for underground garages
- Insulation
- Examination of bottom stability
- Public utility tunnels, pipe jacking, and shield tunnel construction
