Program Overview


Introduction to the Hyowon IN-SA Program

The Hyowon IN-SA (International Network for Study Abroad) program is designed to establish a multilateral human network for prospective dispatchers to adapt to foreign universities and improve academic achievement. The program aims to foster talent with international competence and competitiveness by reinforcing support for fostering global talent.


Purpose

The purpose of the Hyowon IN-SA program is two-fold:


  • To establish a multilateral human network and prevent culture shock for prospective dispatchers, thereby enhancing their ability to adapt to foreign universities and improve academic achievement.
  • To foster talent with international competence and competitiveness by reinforcing support for fostering global talent.

Outline

The program has the following outline:


  • Recruitment: 80 individuals are recruited for the program.
    • 40 regular abroad students per semester each academic year.
    • 20 exchange students currently enrolled.
    • 20 experienced abroad program participants for regular semester.
  • Selection Criteria:
    • Priority selection of prospective students.
    • Selection of exchange students and experienced students by giving priority to the abroad university of the selected prospective students.
  • Team Organization and Composition:
    • Team organization: A total of 20 teams consisting of 4 members, considering the abroad country and abroad university.
    • Composition of each team: 2 prospective students, 1 exchange student, 1 experienced student.
    • Rules of membership: Allocate the number of recruits by country, considering the sending country of successful exchange and educational scholarship students.
      • Assignment of 2 to 3 teams to countries with a large number of prospective students.
      • Flexible team composition according to the number of applicants.
