Program Details

Corporate Governance for Members of Supervisory and Management Boards

• Leaders: prof. Ph.D. Darko Tipuri and Dr. sc. Lana Cindri
• Duration: 5 weeks
• Language: Croatian
• Mode of performance: The program is performed live in the afternoon at the Faculty of Economics - Zagreb
• Requirements for entering the program: Completed university undergraduate studies or professional undergraduate studies (level 6 according to HKO) or at least five years of relevant work experience
• Price: 2,200 EUR

Objectives program

• Explain and criticize the operation of internal and external mechanisms of corporate governance
• Interpret the legal and regulatory framework of corporate governance in the Republic of Croatia and understand its implications for the practice of corporate governance
• Analyze financial reports and assess their role in the process of decision-making and business supervision
• Explain the function and importance of the internal audit system, internal controls and risk management within the framework of good governance
• Develop and apply methods of encouraging effective group dynamics, cooperation and decision-making in the work of the board
• Recognize and analyze forms of corruption risks and apply measures and policies to combat them in the corporate environment
• Integrate ethical standards and sustainability policies into the decision-making processes and business strategies of the company
