Program Overview

The "Druilica" program is designed to develop social skills in children with autism. The program is intended for preschool-age children (5-7 years) with autism spectrum disorder who communicate in sentences.

Program Details

The program consists of eight workshops, held every Friday from 8:00 to 9:30, from late January to mid-March 2025. The group will have a maximum of five children to ensure an individualized approach.

Program Objectives

The program aims to develop skills such as:

• Reporting on oneself and others
• Sharing personal experiences
• Maintaining conversations
• Asking questions
• Understanding and creating jokes
• Resolving communication misunderstandings
• Play skills (role-playing and rule-based games)

Additional Information for Parents

At the end of each workshop, children will present the activities they worked on, and parents will receive a proposal for a game adapted for playing in the car to continue working on these skills at home.

Program Evaluation

To track the progress of the children, short interactions between the child and a neutral person will be recorded before and after the program. Based on these recordings, the program leaders will inform parents about their child's progress and the progress of the entire group after the program is completed.

Program Cost

The program cost is 27 EUR per hour, according to the current price list of the NKC.

Program Content

The program will focus on developing social skills, communication, and play in small groups. The workshops will be led by experienced professionals in the field of logopedics.
